Pavo stops the use of palm oil in their feeds

As of July 20th 2015, palm oil (and palm oil products) will no longer be used in the production of the Pavo horse feeds (both pellets and mueslis).  Instead of palm oil, soyabean oil and corn (maize) oil are now being used. Pavo's mission is to contribute to horses health but we aim to do so in conjunction with respect for our environment. Stopping the use of palm oil is one of our undertakings towards greater sustainability and responsibility.

Pavo buys soya via the ForFarmers Group. In line with the ForFarmers sustainability objectives 70% of all soya meal purchased in 2015 will be responsibly sourced and 100% by 2020.  Pavo's commitmment includes responsible sourcing of soya oil. For more information: www.responsiblesoy.org/

Pavo feed packaging will be amended to reflect these changes over the coming months. The latest information about the ingredients will be available via the Pavo website.
