Pavo Nature’s Best has been improved! This delicious oats-free muesli now offers even more structure and the lowest possible content of sugars and starches of all the muesli mixes in the Netherlands.

Nature’s Best stimulates the natural chewing behaviour of your horse or pony. By adding alfalfa and spelt your horse takes longer to eat and better chews its food. This stimulates the production of saliva which is vitally important for the good health of your horse or pony.

It is a complete hard feed with optimum balance of natural basic ingredients, vitamins, trace elements and minerals. Pavo Nature’s Best is free of oats and has an extremely low protein content.

Nature’s Best does not contain any molasses and only 2% of natural sugars. The starches which the horse’s body transforms into sugars, has been reduced from 30% to merely 24%. The combination of low sugar and low starches content makes Nature’s Best a varied muesli mix with a low energy level and therefore especially suited for “hot” horses, horses with a tendency for overweight or horses and ponies which are prone to laminitis.

Recent scientific research has shown that magnesium fulfils a key role in the body of the horse and that is often undervalued! The research, initiated by Pavo, shows that a significant number of competition horses suffer from a magnesium deficiency in the blood.
That is the reason why SportsFit was created. It is the only dope free competition muesli with extra magnesium and has been extensively tested in day-to-day use.

Podo® Grow is specially manufactured for development of your foal from 8 months to adult horse. At the final growing stage, from 8 to 30 months, the cartilage hardens to  bone. For this, extra calcium is necessary. The calcium/phosphorus ratio in Podo® Grow has been completely tuned for this process. Zinc, copper and manganese have been added in a special form for optimal absorbance. To support the natural growth well and gradually, the sugar and the starch content in Podo® Grow has been reduced to achieve a better energy/protein ratio. Pavo Podo® Grow is the basis for strong legs and with that an important step in the prevention of OC/OCD in the first two years.
